TEHRAN – Iran’s ambassador to Moscow says the Kremlin canceled the delivery of the S-300 missile system to Iran due to a secret deal Russia struck with the United States, Israel, and certain European countries.

In return for the cancelation of the deal, the West promised not to attack the Russian-built Bushehr nuclear power plant, Ambassador Reza Sajjadi told the Fars News Agency in an interview published on Friday.
